For your consideration, a nice set of 4 used 225/60R17 Mastercraft Grand Touring LSR.

These tires were made in late 2018. They measure between 7 and 8/32" of tread.

Free for the taking. The catch - You are responsible for finding an installer. Call this an end of year clearance sale. I have many other sets I will be posting.

These fit many different applications, most commonly Ford Explorer. This set of 4 are brand new. I ordered them in for a customer and never put them on. It's more of a pain to send them back to my supplier for a refund. I'd rather sell them than deal with a credit. $800 installed out the door. These are still under warranty as well. "I think I have a broken belt" ... a phrase I've heard many times that usually turns out to be a uniformity defect (out of round tire) or a balance issue.

This is a broken belt. And one of the worst (best?) I've seen in 20 years. The picture doesn't do this tire justice. This tire was made in 2003. Many times a broken belt is due to age or impact damage. Tires with a higher sidewall profile are more susceptible to this issue. A lower profile tire, which many cars run today, has a tighter wrapped casing and a shorter sidewall resulting in a tire that will hold together much better and has fewer weak points to cause belt separations like this.
