This past week, a few of our team members here at Christopher Chevrolet were proud to tag along with our local Essex County Leatherneck crew for a Toys for Tots fundraiser ride! 🏍️🎁🇺🇸
It was a great day spent riding alongside some incredible members of our community while supporting a cause that means so much to so many families.
For those who may not be familiar, Marine Toys for Tots is a U.S. Marine Corps Reserve program that began in 1947 with a simple mission: collect and distribute new, unwrapped toys to children who might otherwise go without during the holiday season. Over the years, Toys for Tots has grown into a nationwide effort that brings the joy of Christmas—and, just as importantly, a message of hope—to children and families in need.
The program is powered by Marines, veterans, volunteers, businesses, and community members all coming together to make a difference. Local campaigns collect new, unwrapped toys and work with community organizations to get those gifts into the hands of children who need them most. We here at Christopher Chevrolet are proud to do our part as well. Throughout the month of December, we’ll have a truck right in our showroom with one goal in mind: to fill it completely with new, unwrapped toys in hopes of helping make this holiday season a little brighter for local children and families. 🎁🛻
We’re grateful to the Essex County Leathernecks for letting us be part of this ride and for everything they do to support our local community. It’s always a little more meaningful when we can put some miles on the road for a great cause. ❤️
