Here is one from this morning. Frederick was a driving nite mare this morning. Work being done on Rt.15 in the morning had every road in Frederick screwed up. Who thought that was a good ideal to work in morning instead of night work. Good job idiots.

Here is one we picked up on Monday in the rain.

🏈 From the Archives: Bethany Football, 1917 🏈

Nearly 110 years ago, Bethany College football took the field against Pittsburg Normal now known as Pittsburg State University.

The 1917 season was a special one for the Swedes, marking the return of Dr. W.F. “Quince” Banbury, a former star quarterback from Bethany’s original “Terrible Swedes.” His return connected a new generation of Swede football with the proud legacy of those who came before them.

📸 This football from the 1917 season is more than an artifact, it’s a piece of Bethany history, reminding us that the Swede spirit has been strong for generations.

From the Terrible Swedes to today’s Swedes, the tradition continues. 💙💛

Thank you to Amanda Baxa '21 Assistant Librarian for assisting us with the historical posts.
