🏖️ BEACH BREAK, HARBOR COUNTRY STYLE 🏖️

There is SO much more to Harbor Country than the beautiful beaches. Ready for a little adventure? Here are 8 ways to shake the sand off and get moving 👇

💐 Build your own bouquet at Homecamp flowers 🌸 in Three Oaks (opening 7/17), Twin Maple Orchard in Galien, or LAVENDER BLISS FLOWER FARM in Bridgman.

🛶 Paddle it out — SUP or kayak the Galien River with Third Coast Paddling in New Buffalo (right across the street from the beach), or launch at Warren Dunes State Park in Sawyer.

⛳ Tee it up at one of our many local golf courses. The Woodlands Course at Whittaker Jack Nicklaus Golf Course ⛳️ Lake Michigan Brookwood Golf Course Pottawattomie Country Club Chikaming Country Club

🍒 Pick your own fruit at Stover's Farm Market & U-Pic in Berrien Springs or Twin Maple Orchard in Galien — sweet, juicy, and straight off the branch. Both spots have farm markets if you want them to do the picking!

⛰️ Lace up and climb a dune at Warren Dunes State Park for a view worth the burn.

🎉 Get your game on at Captain Mikes Fun Park 🏁🏎️⛳️🌭🎪🎟️ in Bridgman, a 5-acre family amusement park featuring a mini-golf course, Indy-style go-karts, bumper cars, bumper boats and more.

💦 Cool off (without the waves) at the splash pad at New Buffalo Township Memorial Park. Also, playground, nature trail, basketball court, etc.

🚲 Roll through town on an e-bike tour with Pedego Electric Bikes Harbor Country in New Buffalo, or grab a set of wheels from Red Arrow Ride in Union Pier or Uncle Jib’s in New Buffalo and explore the Red Arrow Trail.

The lake will still be there when you get back. 😉

At Paws For Humanity animals and people find a safe haven built on compassion, healing, and connection.

This sanctuary is home to domestic and farm animals who fall outside the typical shelter and rescue system. From alpacas, goats, donkeys, and ducks to therapy dogs and horses, every animal here has found their forever home.

💫 Mission: To honor each animal’s well-being while creating space for meaningful human–animal connections.

Whether it’s equine-assisted learning, therapy dog programs, or simply being in the presence of our animals, Paws for Humanity helps people and animals heal and grow together.
