Pebble Beach: We're currently at Pebble Beach with the 1941 Chrysler Barrel-back Woody. The car drove like a dream for the Pebble Beach Tour D'Elegance. We're on the lawn at the Pebble Beach Concours. Stop by and say hello if you're wandering around the show!

Today we welcomed a group from Australia for a tour of the museum. They are currently traveling around the US visiting car collections, museums, and events. Next stop for them is Car Week in Monterey.

We're currently sorting through all of our videos and photos from the 2025 Mille Miglia. Unfortunately we didn't get much coverage from Leg 1. We were too busy working with driving and navigating!

The end of Leg 2 brought us to Rome. The Mille entrants are treated like royalty. We drove through the streets of Rome with a police es**rt. Fans line the streets waiving at the passing cars. Check out the video at the link:

Here's some more video from check-in day. The checks are structured into two phases. One is sport-related for the crews – which includes scrutiny of permits, certificates and driving licenses. The other is an analytical check looking at the technical and functional aspects of the cars. Next is the next sealing ceremony which is the affixing of a lead seal to certify that all the checks have been completed, that the cars match their documentation, and most of all, to give the green light for them to take part in the race.

This morning (Monday) we brought the car through tech inspection and applied the Mille decals. The Saab sustained some damage to the rear quarter while on the transporter from Netherlands to France. Unfortunately there wasn't enough time for repairs. The organizers had us covered (noting with decals placed over the mishap) that the incident was the transporter's fault and not ours ☺️ , , , , ,

The 1957 Saab 93A Has cleared inspection and event sticker prep. Unfortunately the car suffered some damage due to a careless auto transporter but it has been noted…

Road to Brescia: We’re on our way to the starting line of Mille Miglia 2025! This year we opted to leave the Mercedes at home and will be driving a 1957 Saab 93A. We picked the car up in France and are doing a 400 mile shakedown to Brescia, Italy. The car is well-prepped, having been tuned by a former Saab Competition Department mechanic. It was driven in the 2009 and 2010 Mille Miglia by the former CEO of Saab. We’re likely to have the only Saab on the event! , , , , ,
