Leg 3 took us from Montecatini to Roma. We got lost and couldn't find the entrance to the lunch stop in Sienna! There were several time control stages between the open sections. The Mille Miglia Time Control System is a precision regularity rally format that requires competitors to pass checkpoints at exact, satellite-synchronized times, keeping average speeds under 50 km/h. Teams are scored on their ability to match theoretical times to the second, managing rolling time shifts based on their specific car number. Arrive early or late and receive a time penalty. Leg 1 is in the books! The route took us through Gardone Valtrompia, Valtenesi, Salo, Soave, Vincenza, before stopping in Padova for the night. Not much in car video today as we were too busy at the controls to do much recording.
