🔧 Job Complete! 🔧

🚙 1999 Infiniti QX4

This one came in on the hook after randomly shutting off once it got warmed up. Time to do some digging!

First, we verified the fuel pump was doing its job, then moved on to the ignition system. The spark plugs were in rough shape, and several had weak spark. After installing new plugs and wires, she was running much smoother, but still had a bad habit of shutting off now and then.

We hooked up the scanner and caught the MAF sensor dropping out right when the engine would cut off. To confirm our suspicions, we unplugged it, and the engine ran perfectly for an extended period. One new MAF sensor later, and she’s ready to hit the road again! 💪

Not every job turns into a major headache, and we sure aren’t complaining about an easy fix every once in a while! 😂

Some old iron, a big project, and one more classic back on the road.

This 1978 Corvette was towed into the shop with one goal: go through the entire car and get it roadworthy again.

We took on the challenge and went through it from front to back, tackling steering issues, brakes, leaks, and just about everything in between.

Older vehicles definitely have their own way of keeping you on your toes, but there’s something satisfying about bringing a classic like this back to life.

Another one ready to hit the road! 🤝

🔧 Job Complete!

2001 Ford 7.3 Power Stroke

This old 7.3 came rolling in with some front-end wobble, grinding brakes, and a much-needed service!

We started with the basics and quickly noticed the fuel filters were overdue for a change, so she got fresh filters to start things off. Then we got into the brakes and found the front pads and rotors were metal-to-metal. We replaced the front pads and rotors along with the left front caliper.

While inspecting everything, we also found both front wheel bearings were loose, with the driver’s side being considerably worse than the passenger side. We got those taken care of with two new wheel bearings, too!

Now she’s back on the road and hooked back up to the mowing trailer, ready to get back to work. 💪

Another old Power Stroke fixed up and ready to keep earning its keep! 🤝

Job Complete! 🔧

This 1962 C10 came in with some starter issues. Sometimes it would crank just fine, and other times the starter wouldn’t catch the teeth.

Once we got it in the shop, we spotted the problem pretty quick — the Bendix gear was stuck in the flywheel, and the starter had zero shims!

Older trucks like this can need a little extra attention to get that starter engagement just right. We put in a new starter, added a shim, and now she’s cranking like she should!

Another old Chevy back in business! 🤝

Alright y’all, let’s hear it!

What’s one vehicle you’ve always wanted to own but just haven’t pulled the trigger on yet?

That old square-body Chevy? A Cummins that’ll roll coal? Maybe a classic muscle car sitting on a fresh set of tires?

We all got that one we keep telling ourselves we’re gonna buy one day.

Drop yours in the comments! Let’s see what everybody around here is dreaming about. 👇

JOB COMPLETE! 🔧💪

2018 1.6 EcoBoost Ford Escape came in with a blown head gasket, and rather than spending more time and money rebuilding the original engine, we decided a low-mile used engine was the best route to get this customer back on the road while keeping the cost down.

I’ll be honest… this was one of the toughest engine jobs we’ve tackled! But after plenty of work, some head scratching, and a whole lot of wrenching, we got it all back together and running like it should.

There’s nothing better than seeing a job like this come together and watching another happy customer drive away! 🤝

Another one back on the road!

🔥 Another big one getting ready to hit the road! 🔧

This 2012 6.7 Powerstroke rolled in with almost 400,000 miles on the clock and was starting to go through oil like crazy — blowing tons of oil out the tailpipe and burning through quarts a day!

After digging into it, we found the oil was making its way past the piston rings. At that mileage, the customer decided it was time to give this truck a fresh start with a brand-new drop-in engine!

And boy, is she pretty! 🔥

This thing showed up complete and ready to go, all the way down to the fuel filter. It’s already filled with oil and just waiting for us to drop it in and get this old workhorse back where she belongs! 💪

400,000 miles is a heck of a run. Let’s see how many more this one gets!

JOB COMPLETE! 🔧💪

This 2018 3.5L Expedition came in on the hook running rough and giving us a hard-start situation.

The scanner started telling the story right away — low fuel pressure codes had us looking at the actual fuel pressure the system was demanding versus what the pump was delivering. And let’s just say… the pump wasn’t even close.

We verified our diagnosis with some additional testing and confirmed the fuel pump was the culprit.

A quick fuel pump replacement and she’s running right and back on the road! 🚙💨

Another diagnosis, another repair, another customer back to work. That’s what we like to see! 💪🔧
