I was lucky enough this hood had zero damage other than failing paint. Sanded all the paint off this morning and pulled it into the booth in bare metal. Followed the process for bare metal refinishing and the hood now looks like a black mirror. 😮‍💨

In the paint booth today. Tacoma hood stripped to bare metal. Epoxy sealed, color sealed, base colored and cleared with 3 coats of premium clear that leaves a mirror finish.
