Thibodaux Driving School

Thibodaux Driving School Our page is dedicated to promote safe driving and provide students and parents with tools t

Thibodaux Driving School will follow all state mandates in achieving objectives. We wish to make it clear that we do not expect, in the limited available time, to develop our students into thoroughly experienced drivers. Furthermore, the purpose of driver’s education is not to obtain a driver’s license for the student, but rather through carefully guided experiences, to teach them the fundamentals

of vehicle operation and to lay the foundation for a sound understanding of traffic situations and the techniques and skills needed to cope with them. Students will be evaluated with written tests and driving skills evaluations. Thibodaux Driving School encourages each parent to take an active role in ensuring that your child has completely mastered the skills of driving. Thibodaux Driving School is the only Commercial Driving School in the Tri-Parish area which will give your child a certificate of completion for a 38-hour Driver’s Training Course, and in addition, will give each child a 4-hour certificate of completion in Defensive Driving “Alive at 25". This is a nationally recognized course hosted by the National Safety Council.
