2025 C8 ZR1 Corvette — dialed in 🔥

Had the opportunity to get hands on this one for — whatever they end up calling this package (😂), it flat out works.

As many of you guys know, I (BRC Raceworks) handle much of the calibration work at LMR, and it’s honestly an honor to be trusted with the new ZR1 platform. These cars are next-level right out of the box, and right now… everyone tuning them is learning in real time. That said, the potential here is serious — and we’re just getting started.

* Stock Baseline: 886 RWHP / 714 RWTQ

2014 Corvette Z51 M7 — naturally aspirated done right.

This combo hits that sweet spot: aggressive attitude, real power, and still 100% usable on the street. The idle lets you know it means business… but behind the wheel, it behaves exactly how it should.

This is a more aggressive camshaft setup — no hiding that. It has the chop you expect, but the drivability is still nearly stock-like. No weird habits, no compromises… just get in and drive it anywhere. Cross-country capable without a second thought.

And let’s not overlook the big picture — this is knocking on LS7-type power, out of an engine with 51 less cubic inches. Efficiency matters when the combo is right.

2022 Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing M6 equipped with the LMR 1000 Package 💪

This one came in strong from the factory… and left on a completely different level.

Baseline:
• 563 RWHP
• 577 RWTQ

After LMR 1000 Package:
• 836 RWHP
• 685 RWTQ
• 93 octane
• 16.5 lbs of boost

Mods:
• LMR Custom Camshaft Package
• Magnuson 2650 Supercharger (16.5 psi)
• NW103 Throttle Body
• Header System
• JLT 5” Air Intake
• BRC Custom Calibration

A lot of guys will chase similar numbers with a ported blower—and that works—but this setup was built with a different goal: consistent, controlled manifold air temps in all driving conditions. The Magnuson 2650 delivers that with superior intercooling, not just peak power.

Also worth saying—Global B cars are not something you “wing.” Proper calibration strategy is everything on these platforms. If it’s not done right, not only are you leaving power on the table, but drivability will be poor.

Our best pass of the event right here. After this run, the weather took a turn and we didn’t get another shot to top it.

This setup isn’t even dialed in for the half mile—we just came out hoping to crack 180mph.
So seeing 187mph on the board? That’s a huge win.

Looking forward to Abilene in the fall. Hoping to see more GT350 guys out there.
