Christmas Tree Pick-Up Day is Here!
This Saturday, January 10, The Dalles Lions Club is hosting our annual Christmas Tree Pick-Up!

🕘 9 AM – 1 PM
✔️ Leave your real, undecorated tree curbside and The Dalles Disposal, Lions Club members, and our local Boy Scout troop will collect it (donations gladly accepted).
✔️ Or drop your tree off at Basalt Commons (across from Sawyer’s Ace Hardware) during the same hours.

Thank you for your years of service and congratulations!

During our Department holiday party our members vote for the Police Person of the year and the Police Supervisor of the year. The award is recognition from our own staff for going the extra mile and demonstrating our commitment to excellence in Community Policing.

We are happy to announce the winners for 2025 are:

Police Person of the Year, Officer Travis Elton who has served The Dalles for 17 years 4 months.

Police Supervisor of the Year, Sergeant Doug Kramer who has served The Dalles for 24 years, 6 months.

Each of these winners steadily provide leadership for the Department and diligently safeguard our community.

Congratulations Officer Elton and Sergeant Kramer.
