Stopped by this dealership yesterday (July 4th) because their website was advertising a 2007 Dodge Caliber RT for $2,300 with $35 per month financing. When I got there I was passed off to a rude, unprofessional salesman who was crudely rubbing his crotch as he spoke to me. I was told that that was basically just great advertising to get me in the door and that vehicle is not on their lot yet, and might not end up for sale, they may choose to auction it. When I asked where it was he told me Eastchester. To clarify I asked if he meant Eastchester, NY or the dealership in the Bronx and he said the Bronx. I asked if they’d be open and he said no. He wanted to show me something else but I was so uncomfortable I went back out to my husband (waiting in our car) and we left. Never had I ever felt so disrespected as a consumer. This is not our first unpleasant experience at this particular dealership, but it will certainly be our last because I’ll never be stepping foot in there again. Side note: My husband and I drove to Eastchester dealership, they were in fact open, but didn’t have the car. The manager there was confused and apologized profusely for us going there based on a lie by the gross salesman at Riverdale.
Riverdale Chrysler is a fraudulent company. We left our car there one year ago for a simple factory recall, one week after buying it. While our car was in their possession, they had an accident with it and smashed the right side of the car completely (pictures provided). After that, our nightmare with them started. They said they would need to keep the car for seven days in order to fix it. After we argued with them for a long time, eventually they provided us with a rental car for that time, confirming that they would (obviously) cover the rental and everything related. When we got our car back from them, it was not completely repaired and there were still some problems which they refused to fix to this day.
The main issue is that now, we received a message from Hertz that the bill for the rented car was NOT covered. It's been almost a year since then and they haven't paid it yet. We tried to reach them, and eventually did, they claim that they paid the bill, but REFUSE to show us the receipt or any proof of payment. They have been difficult since the beginning, it is a nightmare to work with them - we spent so much time and energy for something that we didn't even cause - THEY messed up our car and then made it extremely difficult to at least fix what THEY did.
I would like to specify that the people we have been dealing with are Jose Gomez, from the service department, which at least tried to make it better but couldn't quite do that.
The problematic person in this whole ordeal is the service manager, Guadalupe Munoz. I have never received worse service than anyone in the world. She is disrespectful to her clients and unable to do her job properly. I am very surprised that she is even in this position in the first place.
Bottom line - Stay away from this place, it will be a nightmare for you!

What can we say except Jose Jose Jose... he's the man!! We had THE BEST experience at Riverdale Jeep today. Jose was professional, he didn't waste our time, we never felt pressured, he was open & honest about what he could do for us, and he worked hard to get us the best price. Jose even spoke to our insurance company to see if they would give us a better rate THEN called his insurance friend and we saved $96... whoohoo, talk about thrilled! Then there's "Numbers" Roy... Roy is cool & knows his stuff. Thanks Roy for coming through for us & getting us a mthly payment that won't break us. When everything was done the office gave us a congratulatory send-off -- clapping, hand shaking, pounds and all. The entire team is Ahh-Ma-Zing!!! Thanks guys we are customers for life now :)
