Hey Texhoma! I hope you haven’t forgotten about us!

After five long months of waiting, planning, paperwork, and overcoming obstacle after obstacle, we are excited to finally announce that we are OPEN for business!

We want to sincerely apologize for the delay. The process involved far more hoops and challenges than we ever anticipated, and much of it was completely out of our hands. The good news is that we received our closing documents on Monday, making it officially ours!

Since then, we’ve been working hard to get everything cleaned up, organized, and ready to serve our community. We’ve been setting up the proper software, getting our systems in place, and making sure we’re prepared to provide the service you deserve.

We’re proud to say we had our first official customer on Monday! Thank you Derek Farris for trusting us with your oil change. Now we are ready to help many more!

Thank you to everyone who has been patient, supportive, and encouraging throughout this journey. We truly appreciate the support and look forward to serving Texhoma and the surrounding communities for all of your automotive repair and maintenance needs.

Give us a call, stop by, or send us a message—we’re ready to get to work!

Meet another member of the crew at Gearhead Garage, Gavin Hamilton.

With 4 years of hands-on experience, Gavin has worked his way up from apprentice to turning wrenches on everything from air compressors to tractors.

If you know diesel, you know 6.0 Power Strokes aren’t for the faint of heart, and that’s right up his alley.

His mindset in the shop is simple:
Do it right the first time because nobody wants to do the same job twice.

He believes customers deserve to bring their vehicle in, have it fixed properly, and leave knowing it was done right. No shortcuts. No half-done work.

Having lived in the Panhandle for 18 years, Gavin isn’t just working in this community, he grew up in it. There’s something different about serving people you’ve known your whole life or might see at the grocery store or the ball field. That kind of accountability matters.

When he’s not in the shop, he’s hanging out with the boys and enjoying small-town life.

We’re proud to have a crew that works hard, takes pride in what they do, and stands behind their work.

Meet the man behind the wrenches at Gearhead Garage 🔧

We’re proud to introduce our head mechanic, Alex Parker! Parker brings 7–8 years of hands-on experience working on both gas and diesel vehicles.

He got his start working at Wild West Ford, where he built a strong foundation in diagnostics, repairs, and doing the job right the first time. Since then, he’s worked on a little bit of everything, and that versatility is exactly what makes him such a valuable part of our team.

He believes customers deserve two simple things from a mechanic: honesty and someone they can trust. And around here, that matters.

He’s called the Guymon area home for the past 15 years, so he understands the vehicles we drive and the conditions we put them through out here.

When he’s not in the shop, you’ll probably find him riding motorcycles or spending time with his family.

We’re proud to have him leading the work at GGF Automotive. If you’re looking for dependable, straightforward service, you’re in good hands. 🔧
