An EV just charged from 10% to 70% in 4.5 minutes, about as long as filling a gas tank.

China's Geely is charging at 2.2 megawatts, and claims its system can even reverse some of the battery wear that fast charging causes.
It's not available in the US yet, but it will still matter here.

Breakthroughs like this raise the bar for every automaker, and US manufacturers will have to keep pace to stay competitive. That means faster charging, longer-lasting batteries, and more peace of mind for American EV owners.
