A boy.... I came here as a 5 year old boy. I leave here as a 25 year old man with 2 kids. I remember my first real fight. I remember my first kiss and the parties. If you knew me, you knew the yearly Luau was epic. I remember the year it felt like everybody in the neighborhood lost a sibling (including me). I remember my neighbors homes catching on fire. I remember the car crashing into my yard. I remember having the whole neighborhood at my house on the trampoline. I remember the neighbors calling police on us because we had the whole neighborhood down here playing basketball in the street. I remember playing football in the street with Lane, BJ, Tre, Jamie, Archie and my cousin Davon. I remember when Diamond, Imani, and Lakeisha was all together with Destiny, Montana, and Brandy. I remember Tophy strutting his crazy ass down the street to say what's up to Kiara and Erica. I remember Smiley being at the house with Leshonda, Erica, and Kiara. I remember the 50 cent freezy from Rain in the summer time. I remember being out in the street and everybody putting the gloves on and getting to it. I remember the hoodlum nonsense at night in middle school hopping fences and running from the police and through the cut. I remember Rell house being connected to mine (Free Rell). Rell got drunk off of his mother stash and threw up on my living room carpet. I remember my brother Kavon living with me and Felicia, Asia, Shawnte, and the rest of her lil friends coming to the crib off the early morning in the summer. I remember Rayquon running in the creek with the lil joints and coming to put his stanky ass feet on the trampoline. I remember being over Jordan house to like 2 AM with the rest of the neighborhood on STRAIGHT bs. I remember me, rell, zay, nell, Kavon, and rayquon are being on the trampoline doing backflips when we was like 10 years old. I remember having the lil rap sessions in the front yard on a winter night and the manhunt with the lil joints in a summer night. Last but not least, BIG ERICA! The whole neighborhood knew Big E and looked at her like a big sister. Afton is forever engraved in me slim.
