Clearly it’s been a minute since we posted last, so how about we start off with the new shop truck for Ohneck Auto Detailing! They picked up this awesome ‘64 F100 as a roller project and we finished up the details needed to get it running. We were hired to install all wiring from headlight to taillight and create a custom exhaust. This F100 is sitting on a mostly stock chassis with a crown Vic front crossmember, and a 4 link knotched rear. We have the 3p controller keeping the shockwaves under control. The 460 powerplant is controlled by a sniper throttle body and matching distributor. We added ignition box and coil. The digital dash is displaying important vitals while the new owner is sitting comfortably in an awesome set of accompanied by 4 point harnesses. Another small detail we added was replacing the factory turn signals with functioning Halo headlight turn signals. The exhaust was a crazy idea we had to really step this truck up a notch. We created a 3” 304 stainless polished tear drop dual tip exhaust that exits through the bed. The custom tips are accompanied by polished aluminum burn plates. We are happy with how this project turned out, and love seeing it around town! #1964 #460

A lot of fab work lately. Chads been burning the midnight oil to get the shop truck ready for his and wedding. The Front inner fenders would touch the tires when aired out. These small notches should give plenty of clearance for running low! #1962

Owner Jim Roscoe will be getting his beautiful 1951 Chevy back today. New street avenger carb, pro billet distributor, blaster 2 coil, and plugs / wires are installed. The over heating issue was resolved by a good tune up and a 3000cfm pusher fan keeping the engine cool. We also adjusted the original too tight parking brake cross shaft with new tube and a little tig weld. This one is ready for spring! #1951 #454

Are road coarse Camaro side project came out for some sun today! First time it’s been off the jig and onto four wheels in a long time. Unfortunately it is loaded onto the trailer and headed to storage for a short stay. The customer work is piling up and we need some room! #1989

As of yesterday received their new to them 1966 ford f100! A lot of work has been put into this one and we couldn’t be happier with the outcome. When we found and bought the truck for them we knew we had a good one. No rust issues are found anywhere on this truck. It made the 1.5 hour drive back to the shop with some misfires, poor brakes, a worn out clutch, no exhaust, and no lights. Once back to the shop, the entire drivetrain came apart for a major cleanup and rebuild. With everything back together we wanted to throw a little splash of color to make the truck match their beautiful Fremont property. Wimbledon white was laid down on the roof, wheels, tailgate, inner doors, and steering column. came in to lay down the killer vintage lettering on the tailgate. Now Chris and Jeanne have a great show piece for the property and a truck still capable of all the household chores.

owners Jeanne and Chris decided to collaborate with Miller Racing to bring Fremont a one of a kind 1966 F100. This beauty was hand picked by Jeanne and Chris to use as a functional work truck and compliment their 1929 colonial home. The guys just finished a major cleaning of the engine along with rebuilt heads, a 4 barrel intake and carb. After the mechanicals are finished we will add minor cosmetic touches to pair the truck to the house.

A look at ‘83 square body interior. Finally putting the whole thing back together after the long process of fitting these Cadillac Escalade seats into a short cab pickup. It’s proved to be challenging, we are getting close to having a stand alone controller for the heating and cooling functions of the seats. We will finish it off with a fabricated center console to house all the driver amenities. It’s getting close! #1983 #454
