Brilliance was built on hopes and dreams by Chris Bowen. He was the owner, the technician, the service advisor, the car wash assistant, the marketing team, the guy who was getting torn apart from the bottom up, warranty specialist, salesperson, the parts cleaner, the apprentice, the financial advisor, the assistant, the manager, the parts guy, HR, and every single thing in between. For years, it was that way, and then Brilliance started growing the way businesses do - little by little, tool by tool, brick by brick. This little company started being able to do more complicated jobs, tearing down more complicated pieces of the motor deeper with properly calibrated torque wrenches. It got down to head gaskets, timing assemblies, engine removal, and replacement. One day at a time, with more tools and then finally, I took my head out of my ass and found a way to make us more efficient. I knew there was a better way, so I looked for it and found Alldata. Alldata provides everything you need to diagnose and repair vehicles for most makes and models. Shortly after discovering the Snap-On Triton D10, an all-around bi-directional control scan tool with a two-channel oscilloscope, I knew this was it. This thing tells me everything I need to know about every sensor, circuit, computer, and actuator that is controlled by a module. This is the stuff that gives bad mechanics the tools they need to be proficient. I had all the infinity stones besides the licensing to build this little company into a profit producer, at least for my skill set. Slowly, it started working; I was able to diagnose and fix more complicated repairs of sensors, circuits, modules, and TIPMs. The guesswork was finally gone; now we had shop procedures to follow.
