If you can, with this cold weather and road conditions, fill up your gas tanks. A tank that is not full will have water condensation that could cause your fuel lines to freeze up or engine to stall. If you are in your car with it idling for warmth, make sure you open your windows to let fresh air in. Exhaust is orderless and deadly. Take warm clothes and some kitty litter with you to keep in your car. Maybe some snacks and water if you find yourself stranded. Kitty litter poured in front of the drive-wheels in the direction you want to go will provide some extra traction that may get you unstuck. Increase distances from the traffic in front of you. Don't lock up your brakes. Drive slower and look for road ice. DO NOT use your cruise control. Steer into a slide. The best thing to do is stay home. GOD bless and keep you safe and warm.

You may want to get your antifreeze checked. Also windshield washer fluid. Most washer fluids àre protected only to 32 degrees.
