Little sister Sydney wants the old sun back so that all the other furry babies will be safer. Way too many furry babies have crossed the rainbow bridge in the last couple of days because of the extreme heat & because they weren’t lucky enough to have a human that didn’t leave them in a hot car or make them walk on a burning hot pavement while wearing a fur coat. Please remember no dog has ever died from missing a walk but have died from a walk in the heat. And before anymore trolls have a go saying they’re sick of people moaning about the heat, we’re not, we’re just raising awareness to how dangerous the heat can be if you don’t take care of us furry babies….🥵🥵🥵.

We havin’ a heat wave, as an old, old song once said. Please make sure not to keep your pets in a parked vehicle. The results can be fatal to them. Remember, state law allows citizens to make entry to rescue a pet in danger inside a hot car if the citizens have first called 911 and made a good faith attempt to find the owner first.

IMPACTS...Hot temperatures and high humidity may cause heat illnesses to occur.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors. Young children and pets should never be left unattended in vehicles under any circumstances.

A giant ship's engine broke down and no one could repair it, so they hired a Mechanical Engineer with over 30 years of experience.

He inspected the engine very carefully, from top to bottom. After seeing everything, the engineer unloaded his bag and pulled out a small hammer.

He knocked something gently. Soon, the engine came to life again. The engine has been fixed!

A week later the engineer mentioned to the ship owner that the total cost of repairing the giant ship was $20,000.

"What?!" said the owner.

"You did almost nothing. Give us a detailed bill."

The answer is simple:
