Cannot believe this car was still running. Poorly, but still running. It drove in. In 40+ years of doing this I have never seen points worn this badly. I don't know how one can even accomplish this. The positive side literally drops into the negative side about .020 😂

First day back at the shop today. Man I miss this place. Lasted about 4 hours. I'll call that progress.

Some of you may already know that we are currently closed. I had a right total knee replacement on Tuesday and am currently recovering at home. Physical therapy starts next week. At this point I'm not sure how long recovery will take but I hope not to be down more than a month to 6 weeks from this past Tuesday. We shall see. So far it has pretty much sucked but it is improving. I check my messages at the shop daily and am making a list for when I get back. I can also be reached here just DM me. I would like to thank all who have supported us for the last 21 years and also everyone who is waiting for me to get back to their projects. You all mean the world to both of us. I'll try to post what is going on occasionally to keep y'all up to speed. Feel free to keep in touch. (I'm pretty bored right now 🤣)

This is why you don't park them for years with a half full tank of 10% ethanol. This fuel tank was brand new when the car was parked. Fill it with 100% ethanol free fuel every time, and especially when storing. 100LL Avgas is best for storing old cars but not the easiest to get.

Gotta love it when people call you about their old car multiple times, get the same answer each time and then get offended the last time because they did not get the answer they wanted to hear.
