Keeping pests out of RV's is an ongoing problem, especially if the RV is stored outside and on a farm or near a field - - mice, voles and rats love this!!! This is a persistent problem we see in many of the RV's we work on. The main area looks reasonably fine, but open a cabinet door or exterior hatch and the floor looks like a Saturday night confetti party of f***s droppings. And this means the inside of your furnace and other appliances will face the same demise and not work properly. Plus it's an environment that is not safe for your family, let alone your RV repair person; costing more for you the owner in so many ways! The article attached provides some further insights on how to mitigate this problem, but it means spending the time to "seal" your RV up so the critters can't get in.

RV's are a very popular item this year (rightfully so!) and several folks have asked us recently where they should look to buy or sell a used RV, as well as gain insights on determining the value of one. In addition to strolling through the various RV sales lots throughout the valley, we typically recommend several other resources, such as RV Trader, Craigslist, and even Facebook marketplace to gain an idea of what's available to purchase, as well as the prices others are asking for their RVs. Then to dial in a bit closer on specific value, we recommend using the NADA Guide (National Auto Dealers Assoc.). While I'm sure there are others available, these are all a good place to start.
