Candlelight vigil planned to honor late Zephyrhills Little League coach Heath Horsley

The Zephyrhills Little League community will gather for a candlelight vigil in memory of beloved coach Heath Horsley on Sunday, July 5, 2026, from 7:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the league’s fields. Horsley died tragically Thursday.

The event will include the dedication of the field as “Horsley Field” in recognition of his lasting impact on local youth baseball. Attendees are invited to honor Horsley’s legacy with a community candlelight ceremony. Candles will be provided.

Horsley, pictured in the event flyer wearing his Zephyrhills Little League All-Stars shirt, is remembered fondly as a dedicated coach. A message on the flyer reads: “Forever in our hearts, forever our coach,” alongside the sentiment: “A light to honor his legacy. A community forever grateful.”

The vigil offers an opportunity for players, families, and residents to come together in remembrance. For more information, contact Zephyrhills Little League.
