We’ve all been tempted — whether it’s a quick DIY fix in the driveway or handing it off to the cheapest backyard mechanic around to “save a few bucks.”

This right here is the pure definition of why that approach often backfires.

What starts as a money-saving idea usually turns into extra work for us, and more $ for the customer.
We have to carefully undo the makeshift repairs and questionable fixes before we can even begin properly diagnosing the real problem. That means more shop time… and a much bigger bill than if it had been done correctly the first time.

We totally understand — keeping a vehicle on the road isn’t cheap. But trusting the cheapest or most convenient option can end up being the most expensive decision in the long run.

Pro tip: If you’re ever unsure about a repair (or a quote that seems too good to be true), snap a quick photo and send it our way. We’re always happy to give you straight, honest advice — no pressure.
