🔧 CRANK / NO START — DIAGNOSED & FIXED! ✅

This 2016 Dodge Charger 5.7L HEMI was cranking but would not start, so instead of guessing and throwing parts at it, we worked through the system step by step.

We started by checking the battery/charging system, fuses, and relays. From there, we moved to ignition, removed the spark plugs, and physically verified that the engine had spark. With spark confirmed, our diagnosis led us over to the fuel system.

⛽ The fuel pump was not priming, even though the relay and command to the pump were working. After probing the fuel pump wiring, we found heat/burn damage at terminals 4 & 5 of the fuel pump connector.

Based on our findings, we:
🔧 Replaced the fuel pump
🔧 Replaced the fuel filter/secondary unit
🔧 Removed the damaged connector and installed a new fuel pump pigtail
🔧 Wired the updated connector according to the proper configuration
🔧 Retested the system

Turned the key and she fired right up! 💪🏽🔥

Another one back on the road! 🔧💪🏽

This 2016 Chevy Malibu 1.5L Turbo in Largo had recently been purchased used when the client ran into an unexpected problem — the vehicle would no longer shift into Park, leaving them unable to properly shut it off and eventually needing it towed home.

🔧 Installed a new shift cable
⚙️ Found the original shifter assembly would not release/unlock properly
✅ Recommended & installed a new shifter assembly
🚗 Test drove with the client afterward — shifting properly, going into Park, shutting off like it should, and back up and running!

A good diagnosis doesn’t always end with a repair it ends with the right solution!

This 2008 Ford F-150 5.4L came to me with a complaint of hesitation going uphill, a feeling like it was misfiring, and a rattling noise during acceleration. Even though there were no engine codes present, the symptoms pointed me toward a timing issue.

After completing my diagnostic, I recommended that the client visit The Car Doctor for a timing chain quote since they specialize in those repairs. The client liked their estimate and decided to move forward with them.

I stopped by during teardown to lend a hand. Ezequiel handled the driver’s side while I removed the passenger-side valve cover, where the excessive timing chain slack was clearly visible—confirming exactly what the diagnosis pointed to.

This is why proper diagnostics matter. It’s not about guessing or selling unnecessary repairs—it’s about finding the root cause and helping the customer make the right decision, even if that means referring the job to another trusted shop.

Another happy customer in the books! 💪🔧

This Subaru Crosstrek originally came to us for a diagnostic after the owner noticed braking and suspension concerns. After a full inspection, we recommended:
✅ Front & rear brake pads and rotors
✅ Front sway bar links

Today we completed the repairs, and the difference in braking and handling was immediate! While performing the work, we also completed another courtesy inspection and found a few additional items the customer should keep an eye on:

⚠️ All four tires appear to have sidewall bulges consistent with internal belt separation.
⚠️ Driver-side front brake hose was found twisted and should be corrected.
⚠️ Passenger lower control arm bushing is worn. We’ll be replacing both lower control arms during the next visit so they can be done as a pair.

Another cooling system repair knocked out! ✅

Today we had a customer in Wesley Chapel with a 2017 Ford Escape 2.5L that had multiple cracked plastic coolant lines and a failing coolant reservoir, causing coolant leaks.

🔧 Repairs completed:
• Replaced the coolant reservoir
• Replaced the plastic coolant lines going to the reservoir
• Replaced the line to the radiator
• Replaced the line to the back of the water outlet
• Pressure tested the cooling system to verify there were no leaks

This customer in Westchase, FL was dealing with a no-start condition. After a full diagnosis, we confirmed the starter had failed. Even though this is a labor-intensive job that books at nearly 6 hours, we knocked it out efficiently and had the truck back up and running the same day. 💪
