5 + years… my third home. Holy moly. It’s hard to believe I’m even writing this.
I just wanted to let everyone know that I’ve decided to step away from Outten and next Saturday will be my last day at the dealership.
When I started this journey, I knew absolutely nothing about the car business and honestly, I didn’t know much about cars either 😂. I wasn’t raised in the car bizneszsssssssss but that never stopped me from taking it on with a sense of pride, humility, and a little humble brag about being damn good at it lol.
I never really had traditional goals because I’ve always believed goals can be affected by circumstances, situations, and sometimes even other people. A mission is different. A mission is entirely determined by you.
My mission has always been simple: help as many people as I can, impact as many lives as I can, and hopefully make somebody’s day a little better.
Helping people has always been my passion. The last 5 + years gave me the opportunity to do that in a way I never expected, and I’m incredibly grateful for it. I’ve learned a ton, met some amazing people, built relationships, and had the privilege of being a small part of so many people’s stories.
To everyone who has purchased a vehicle from me, trusted me, confided in me, recommended me to someone else, or simply allowed me to help you along the way THANK YOU. You have no idea how much that has meant to me.
I’ve decided it’s time to shift my focus and continue my mission in a different way. The path is changing, but the mission never will.
A special thank you to Mr. Outten for trusting me and giving me the opportunity to grow. Thank you to all of my sales colleagues, bank reps, and partners who have been part of this journey. I’m grateful for every one of you.
The car business itself may not have been my passion, but helping people always was. I always tried to show up with pride, optimism, and the mindset that I was going to give my best every single day.
My desk will be open all week, and next Saturday will officially be my last day.
