TRUE QUALITY CERAMIC COATINGS ARE NOT CHEAP.
Please don’t compare a professional, silica based ceramic coating to the spray on products you can grab over the counter and assume they’re the same thing. They’re not…..not even close!
YES - even brand new vehicles can require paint correction.
New doesn’t mean perfect. Transport, dealership washes, handling, and storage can leave behind swirls, scratches, hazing, or other imperfections that should be addressed before coating otherwise you’re gonna see it.
YES - professional ceramic coatings need to be applied in a temperature controlled environment.
Why?
Liquid silica based coatings are extremely sensitive to the conditions they’re applied and cured in. Most manufacturers call for specific temperature and humidity ranges because those conditions directly affect how the coating flashes, bonds, and cures.
Too hot? The coating can flash too quickly, creating high spots that may require machine polishing to correct.
Too cold? The bonding and curing process can slow down significantly, potentially leading to streaking, hazing, or premature failure.
That’s why professional shops use enclosed, climate controlled bays protecting the vehicle from fluctuating temperatures, direct sunlight, moisture, and airborne contaminants. Google it!

You’re not paying for someone to simply spray something on your vehicle. You’re paying for the product, correct preparation, paint correction, controlled temperature environment, certified installation, and expertise that goes into doing it properly.
