MAY 7, 2025 is the date!

With the deadline approaching for the Real ID, I wanted to list things that are needed for obtaining a Real ID.

Men: if your name has never changed:

*State Issued certified Birth Certificate (not a birth record) not a hospital Birth record, not a photo copy of one!
*(2) documents with your PHYSICAL address on it and the name that matches your current ID or Driver License not location digits or deed description! Some Examples include, bank statement, ok voter registration card, conceal carry permit, utility bills, current DL or ID, vehicle registration…
NO PO BOX addressed mail cannot be accepted…

Women: pay close attention please

*Birth Certificate (same as mentioned above)

*IF your name has EVER changed you must bring EVERY document listing the names you’ve used, ie: certified marriage license and divorce decrees from each and every name change, this is required for every single name change not just your current marriage! THE ONLY way around bringing every document of name changes is to have a current unexpired PASSPORT with your current name!

*the same 2 pieces of mail with physical address listed above with your name on it…

Also keep in mind all DLs and IDs are mailed now so give yourself 30 days to get a real ID back before booking a flight on or after May 7th 2025!!!!
