Romeo the Elephant and Ginny the giraffe in Delavan, Wisconsin, which was known as the "19th Century Circus Capital of the Nation," serving as the winter quarters for 26 to 28 different circus companies between 1847 and 1894.

Delavan's circus history began in 1847 when Edmund and Jeremiah Mabie brought their U.S. Olympic Circus—the largest traveling show in America at the time—to the area. It’s also the Birthplace of P.T. Barnum's Circus.

In 1870–1871, legendary showman William Cameron Coup collaborated with P.T. Barnum in Delavan to build what would become P.T. Barnum’s Grand Traveling Museum, Menagerie, Caravan & Hippodrome — the direct predecessor to "The Greatest Show on Earth".

This rich heritage predates Wisconsin’s statehood and occurred decades before the Ringling Brothers established their famous quarters in Baraboo, Wisconsin.

One of our "competitors" recently announced that they were branching off into the RV tech business. That's fine. Like all RV techs who claim to know how to clean RV tanks, we see them a jacks-of-all-trades, masters of none.

Who would you rather have work on your RV's tanks: The guy who — in the last week — installed a microwave, patched a roof tear, and replaced a slide-out motor, or the guy who cleaned five travel trailer tanks, six fifth wheel tanks, ten Class A motor coach tanks, got three toilets unclogged and the tanks draining again, and has plans to service 23 RV's tanks at next week's local RV rally?

No one likes that feeling. Did you also know that it doesn't matter which type of toilet paper you use in your RV? Yep, you can buy that $8 a roll stuff from the RV park camp store, the "septic safe" type from Costco, or even the four-ply, double quilted, vanilla rose luxury TP from your local home goods boutique. Any type will work just fine. Just follow two rules:

1. Don't use an excessive amount of TP (and gently folding is preferred to a tight ball)
2. Use plenty of water, water, water when flushing it down
