When it came time to treat the pond last week, Floyd needed a little more reach, so he did what Floyd does best, he figured it out.

Throwback Thursday to a couple weeks ago when Gordy, one of our skilled machinists, gave Tim his own personal shoutout, and a 6-pack, for doing an amazing job in his new role. 👏

Tim recently stepped into our Fabrication Quality Control position, checking fab parts for quality before they head to welding. He’s really taken ownership of the role and has already made a big impact on both Gordy and the rest of the shop.

Leadership gives weekly shoutouts to team members who stand out, but seeing a peer take the time to recognize someone during the morning meeting is a great example of what RSH culture is all about.

Awesome work, Gordy. And thank you, Tim, for all of your hard work and dedication to the team. We appreciate you both!

This week, Destinee passes the Peer-to-Peer Award to Sam, one of our talented TIG welders. 🏅

Sam has made a lot of strides here at RSH, and in just the few months Destinee has been with us, she’s already noticed the positive impact Sam has on the team.

Sam is always challenging herself to keep improving in her craft, always willing to stop what she’s doing to help someone out, and she does it all with a positive attitude and a smile.

This week’s shoutout goes to Donald, one of our awesome swing shift TIG welders and night shift lead.

Donald has been doing an incredible job balancing his own production while also taking the time to train two of our newer TIG welders. Leading by example, sharing his knowledge, and helping set the standard for the team.

Working swing shift means a lot of that hard work happens behind the scenes, but Donald’s impact is felt throughout the shop, and leadership has definitely taken notice.

The truth is, a lot of that knowledge is getting harder to find. Our hope? That we don’t just keep old iron alive… we keep those lessons alive too.
