This post is to hopefully help future customers and educate.

We see quite a few trucks come through the shop from a DIY project. Which is great we have no problem helping out if something doesn’t go right or things can’t be figured out!

We strongly encourage to not buy any “ genuine Bosch products” from anywhere but a reputable source. And unfortunately there is a lot of counterfeit parts on the market! Stay away from Amazon, eBay, and or any third party sights that the price is to good to be true!

If you need a place to source good quality parts we are here to help! We have the ability to source the best parts on the market. And can give recommendations on parts to use and stay away from! Most cases we can drop ship them right to you!

Feel free to call or message fb 8107015598!

🔧 2022 Duramax — 101,000 Miles and Already Eating Lifters! 🔧

This truck came into Po**en Repair and Performance with 101K on the clock, and once we got into it, we found the lifters were completely ate up and had taken the camshaft with them.

Since we were already this deep, the customer decided to take care of some upgrades and preventative work at the same time:

✅ New camshaft
✅ New lifters
✅ Head studs
✅ New head gaskets
✅ EGR upgrade
✅ Fresh fluids & everything buttoned back up right

Sometimes it makes more sense to do it once and do it right, especially when the engine is already apart.

Another Duramax getting put back together and ready for another 100K+ miles. 💪
