We had a tricky one come our way.
#2 cylinder had the most random misfire. After swapping injectors, checking wiring, inspecting the entire fuel system, double checking recent services we were stuck scratching our heads.

We finally decided to dig deep once we completely shut off #2 injector and was still able to physically feel a “misfire” in the truck from an already dead cylinder.

Some how this lifter twisted in place, wore out the bearing and began to flatten. We think we caught it in time where the cam is in good shape, install a new lifter and re assemble. Hope for the best 🤞🏻

No power all afternoon.. no problem. We got this 2005 6.0 power stroke cab off and headsoff just under 2 hours with a few headlamps and some ingenuity!
