Alexa's EarthDay EveryDay My name is Alexa. I am 8 years old and in 3rd grade. Things I love are animals, nature, gymnastics and school. My favorite cat is Pebbles.

My favorite color is purple :) My favorite animal is cats. My favorite event in gymnastics is vault. I started this organization because I see TOO MUCH LITTERING :(:(:( I live on a beautiful road but it has too much trash. A couple weeks ago there were two men in pickup trucks cleaning up the litter on our road. When they were done it looked so great but now there is litter all over again. I want

people to stop littering and think about the earth and the animals. We live near the Atlantic Ocean and the Croatan National Forest in North Carolina. I want to work to help protect animals like deer, bunnies, eagles, dolphins, jellyfish and sharks. I want to teach the people in my community about what they can do to prevent litter.

This is the bridge that we go over to get to the beach. My mom always says " look for dolphins!" Sometimes we actually do see dolphins! :) This water is called The Bogue Sound. We don't see much litter in Emerald Isle. I think there is more litter on my road because people throw their trash out the window because it is a back road and they don't think anyone will see.

This is the Croatan National Forest on my road. It is very pretty. Eagles, bunnies, deer and foxes are some of the animals that live here.
