From Ingles, we’ll head out on US-74 to NC-28 (aka the Moonshiner). We’ll head South on NC- 28 to SC-107, which will lead us to SC-130, and eventually connect back to NC-281 N. We’ll then follow US-64 E, ending the ride at the intersection of 64 and 276 in Brevard.

🧃 The ride does not have a sit down lunch stop, so please bring snacks and drinks.

Join us for a leisurely ride to South Carolina. From Ingles in Canton, we’ll head South on NC 215 to Rosman, then continue South on US 178 down into South Carolina. We’ll follow SC 11 and SC 130 around Lake Jocassee before riding back up into North Carolina. We’ll head North on NC 281, passing Lake Toxaway, following Silversteen Rd back over to NC 215, and then back to Ingles in Canton. There are lots of curves and mountains on this ride, so we hope you can join us for what we’re sure will be a beautiful day! 🤩

🧃There is no planned stop for lunch, but we will have two stops for breaks, so bring snacks and drinks.

Ride is ~150 miles.

Let's go chasing waterfalls!

From Maggie Valley, we’ll head West on US-19 through Cherokee and Bryson City and into the Nantahala National Forest via US-74. After a quick stop at the Nantahala Outdoor Center, we'll ride the always beautiful Wayah Rd around Nantahala Lake until we meet up with US-64. We'll follow US-64 E through the Cullasaja River Gorge, stop for a photo at Bridal Veil Falls, and continue on to Highlands Smokehouse Restaurant for lunch. After lunch, we'll continue on US-64 E to NC-215, stopping at Sunburst Falls on our way back North. We'll follow NC-215 to Canton, where the ride will end at Ingles (630 Champion Dr, Canton).

Total ride distance is about 170 miles.
Expect to be back in Canton no later than 5:00 pm.

⛰️ Over The Ridge Ride ⛰️

Join us after the Monthly Chapter Meeting for a ride crossing the Blue Ridge on US 276. After everyone has had a chance to grab lunch from the food truck, we'll head out onto the Blue Ridge Parkway to NC 191. From there, we'll snake our way through W Asheville to Newfound Rd and into Canton to connect with US 276 S. We'll take US 276 up and over the ridge to Dolly's Dairy Bar & Gift Shop in Pisgah Forest, where the ride ends. 🍦🍧
