Sometimes the worst case scenarios happen, in this case a connecting rod shot out the bottom of the block which is the hole you are seeing here. This can happen for a handful of reasons but is most common from having almost no oil in the engine. Making sure to have leaks checked over and taken care of is very important! I spend a lot of time diagnosing and looking over vehicles so this won't happen to you.
If you're concerned your vehicle may be leaking, call me before it's too late.
