So now that we are back and settled in from .south , I wanted to share my thoughts being a sponsor/vendor and being one of the only mega truck/tractor tired rigs out there. We had a blast for our first time out. Originally, I'll admit I had expected to be met with some disdain or dislike for the gator. Not because it's not off-road oriented, but because it doesn't necessarily belong to a clique, and it's easy to look at something like that and say if it doesn't drive down the road it's useless.
We were met with the complete opposite, and the amount of people I had gotten to meet first hand who I had already been following on social media was even cooler. They say it's not about the vehicles but it's about the people, and they nailed it with that. Tons of trails, tons of vehicles, good food, and an atmosphere that the whole family could enjoy. The amount of kids that lit up when they saw the gator made it well worth it in itself, but also talking shop with so many different people from different parts of the Low Country, East Coast, and all over really made it even better. We weren't there to destroy mud pits or mow down trees, but to gain some local exposure and support. This event over delivered on all of it. We will definitely be back with a larger booth, more items to show off, and maybe even another rig or 2. Btw the RTI ramp was pretty awesome, was honestly surprised how well the gator did with the parallel lowers.
