We are 1 week out!
Don't miss out!
THIS IS THE BIG ONE.
SCYAK 2026 Invitational Classic
October 24–25 | Santee Cooper
Two days of competition. A field drawn from across the kayak-fishing community. One 2026 SCYAK Invitational Classic Champion.
This championship is designed to bring out the very best and see who can earn the title over two full days on Santee Cooper. We’re closing out 2026 with serious competition, championship hardware, giveaways, and a celebration of the community that made this season possible.
WHO CAN FISH?
• All current SCYAK members
• Anglers qualified through an SCYAK recruiting event
• Anglers officially invited by SCYAK
• All anglers registered for the October 24th 2nd Annual BIG Adventures Team Meetup & Showdown Tournament
All current SCYAK members qualify
CHAMPIONSHIP FORMAT
Fish the legal public waters of Lake Marion, Lake Moultrie, and the Diversion Canal, excluding officially closed or marked off-limits areas.
• Five fish per angler each day
• 12-inch minimum
• Saturday’s and Sunday’s totals are averaged to determine final standings
• Highest two-day average wins
• Standard SCYAK and TourneyX tiebreakers apply
SCHEDULE—BOTH DAYS
• 6:00 AM: Launch and first cast, with no delay
• 3:00 PM: Lines out
• 4:00 PM: Final photo submission deadline
The identifier will be released Friday, October 23, at 8:30 PM. Registration closes Saturday, October 24, at 6:00 AM.
We’ll be sharing the water with the BIG Adventures event on Saturday, and I’ll be competing in that one too. Judging may be a little slower on day one, but I’ve got it covered. Thanks in advance for your patience!
ENTRY & PAYOUTS
$110 total registration:
• $100 entry—100% returned through championship payouts
• $10 for TourneyX fees and championship food
Payouts follow the SCYAK structure based on the final registered field. For example:
• 30 anglers: $3,000 prize pool / $2,150 first place
• 40 anglers: $4,000 prize pool / $2,730 first place
• 50 anglers: $5,000 prize pool / $3,230 first place
That’s before optional side pots.
Current SCYAK members needing entry assistance can contact me privately.
OPTIONAL SIDE POTS
• Asquared Rollers—$50: Highest-finishing entered angler wins the collective pot.
• Teams—$20 per angler: SCYAK’s best-five format with a maximum of three fish from either teammate, creating the required 3+2 split.
• Big Bass—$10: Longest qualifying bass submitted during the championship wins.
• Small Bass—$10: Smallest qualifying bass submitted directly to the Tournament Director by phone or Messenger wins.
Due to TourneyX’s multi-day team-scoring limitation, SCYAK will calculate team results separately using submitted fish. Official pairings and updated standings will be maintained in the SCYAK Facebook group.
