Please join us in welcoming the MV Sutton Devall, the newest addition to our growing fleet.

This boat name reflects a Southern Devall tradition of recognizing employee tenure through vessel naming opportunities. New boats are typically named after the company employee with the greatest tenure, who may also choose to dedicate the vessel to someone meaningful in their life. Employee Alfred Devall selected the name MV Sutton Devall in honor of his son.

We are excited to see the MV Sutton Devall begin its journey and continue the tradition of service, reliability, and excellence that defines Southern Devall.

Regular vessel visits are an important part of staying connected with our crews, supporting our captains, and making sure our teams have the resources they need to succeed.

Port Captains and shoreside leaders like Capt. Anthony “Big Ant” David, Capt. Pete Ciaramitaro , EVP Mikey Devall, and Capt Sean Tittle make time to visit our boats, connect with our mariners, and strengthen the relationships that keep Southern Devall moving forward.

This recent Memphis visit was another great opportunity to spend time with our crews — including Capt. Neal Garon sending Capt. David and Capt. Tittle off after a visit.Because at Southern Devall, safety, communication, and connection are built one conversation at a time.
