We are now hiring first shift full-time diesel mechanics. We offer competitive wages, paid vacation and holidays, short term disability, company matching IRA benefits, paid training / classes for certifications, boot allowance, and provide uniforms.

The right candidate must be 18 years or older with a high school diploma or GED. Have diesel engine repair training or equal experience. Proficient with computers and diagnostic equipment. Knowledgeable with shop equipment and tools. Posses a good work ethic, with a drive to succeed. Have good written and verbal communication skills. A good driving record is required, with a CDL or willing to obtain one. The ability to follow safety policies and procedures.

Job duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to : Diagnostics and repair of diesel trucks. Perform preventive maintenance, inspecting, and making repairs. DOT inspections and noting any deficiencies. Repairs to suspensions, alternators, starters, electrical systems, lights, brake systems. Engine overhauls. Perform PM's and BPM's. Write up repair orders that include all parts used and stories for each job. Ordering parts for jobs or stock. Maintain a clean and safe work area.
