Owens Products Announces Promotion of Spencer Kirtley to President
Fourth-generation family leader to guide the Sturgis, Michigan manufacturer into its next chapter
STURGIS, Mich. — Owens Products is pleased to announce the promotion of Spencer Kirtley to President, continuing a proud family tradition of leadership at the Michigan-based manufacturing company.
Spencer represents the fourth generation of the family to lead Owens Products, which traces its roots to 1965, when the company was founded by his great-grandfather, the late Owen Baker.
For more than six decades, Owens Products has built its reputation as an American manufacturer serving the aftermarket vehicle industry as well as the hunting, law enforcement and military markets. From its operations in Sturgis, Michigan, the company manufactures products designed to meet the demands of customers who depend on quality, durability and performance.
Spencer has been with Owens Products for the past seven years, gaining hands-on experience throughout the organization and working his way through virtually every aspect of the business. That experience has provided him with a broad understanding of the company’s manufacturing operations, employees, customers and markets.
His father, Gary L. Kirtley, II, CEO and owner of Owens Products, said Spencer’s promotion represents both an important milestone for the family and an exciting step forward for the company.
