In 1977 only, Pontiac made about 1500 Lemans models with this Can Am option. They were all Cameo White with the red and orange graphics and a shaker hood on top of the 400 Trans Am engine. The snowflake Trans Am wheels were an option from the standard Rallye IIs. The original interior was solid white but this one has custom seat covers to match the graphics. With 87k miles on the clock, we freshened the engine with cylinder head rebuild and new timing set and gaskets throughout as well as a carb rebuild and new engine paint and detail. A few other items along with correcting the speedometer drive inside the transmission and today it’s going home. It drives great cruising with the cold AC! #1977

Quick walk around on our ‘59 Corvette project as assembly is complete and we got it out in the sun for a bath although we did leave some of our tape on the door sills to protect it while it’s in and out of the alignment and upholstery shop. It heads to get an alignment today and then will be stored until the upholstery shop is ready for it. It’s amazing how well and how quickly these projects come together when you have the right team involved and this one was fully assembled in 90 days after paint. The Corvette sits on a Roadster Shop Spec Seven chassis with C7 corvette suspension powered by a 650hp LS7 engine, Tremec 6-speed transmission, Baer brakes and custom Boze wheels. Inside it features digital instruments, power windows, and air conditioning. It’s finished in Tropical Glitz Seductive Red with Diamond Pearl white coves.

In 1970 there were 678 Buick GSX models produced. 186 were white, the remaining 491 were Saturn Yellow. This one is an automatic transmission with AC, power windows, power seat, cruise control and 8-track player.

Finished up a list of TLC items on this gorgeous ‘55 this week. The whole car is like a fine tuxedo. Laser straight over a Morrison chassis with a supercharged LSA and a Tremec transmission now has cold AC and the engine and suspension tuned in.

It’s always special to see this 1972 Cutlass S as it was one of our very first restorations nearly 13 years ago. More preservation than restoration, it had been in a local garage since the late 80s and we rebuilt the original engine land drivetrain exactly how it was born, replaced the interior exactly as original, and painted it back to its original color. The factory AC works and it has a whopping 68,000 miles. The only thing we changed was we added factory style disc brakes. It still looks and runs fantastic.

Saturday we were happy to bring 2 of our builds to the annual
Pine School 100 Years of Cars Show. The ‘72 K5 Blazer we finished last year featuring a supercharged LT4 and Roadster Shop Chassis and the ‘68 Superbee we finished last week with a 950hp Ray Barton Hemi and chassis components from Art Morrison. It was a very nice event and we were so happy to get a great award for the Super Bee especially since it was its first time out. The Blazer got a fantastic response as always too.
