Today we got Andrew’s 2010 Electra Glide Classic in the shop for a front brake squeal and a complete brake fluid flush using AMSOIL DOT 3&4 brake fluid.

During our initial walk-around, we noticed something else that needed attention: his front tire was well past the wear bars and due for replacement. We brought it to Andrew’s attention, showed him what we found, and he opted to have us take care of that while the bike was in our shop.

🔧 ANOTHER STREET GLIDE SERVICED AND READY FOR THE ROAD! 🏍️

Tonight, we finished up Dustin’s 2014 Street Glide Special here at Ingram Motorcycle Services LLC!

Dustin brought his bike to us with a couple of issues. First, the front brake switch wasn’t activating the brake lights. Second, it was due for a brake and clutch fluid flush. While we had it in the shop, Dustin decided it was time for a complete service as well.

Here’s what we took care of:
✅ Diagnosed and addressed the front brake light switch issue
✅ Flushed the brake and clutch systems using AMSOIL DOT 3&4 brake fluid
✅ Completed a full 3-hole service
✅ Performed a thorough inspection of the motorcycle

During our inspection, we discovered that one of the breather bolts in the rear cylinder head was almost completely unthreaded, while the front breather bolt was loose as well.

💡 ANOTHER BIKE OUT THE DOOR! 💡

Today we finished up Robert’s 2018 Fatboy, and this one came in for an underglow upgrade.

Robert brought us an underglow kit he had picked up and trusted us to get it installed correctly. While removing the tank to install the lighting, we noticed the wiring for his air ride was simply hanging along the backbone of the bike. 👀

Rather than just installing the lights and sending it down the road, we took the extra step to secure and route the air ride wiring properly to help prevent it from becoming an issue down the road.

That’s the difference between just installing parts and actually paying attention to the details.

🚨 YOUR BRAKE FLUID COULD BE PUTTING YOU AT RISK. 🚨

Most riders think about tires, brakes, and oil—but when was the last time you checked the condition of your brake and clutch fluid?

Today we finished up Marc’s 2015 Street Glide Special, which came into Ingram Motorcycle Services LLC in a non-running state due to a fuel leak.

After getting the fuel leak repaired, Marc decided to have us go through the bike and take care of some important maintenance:

🔧 3-Hole AMSOIL Fluid Service
🛑 Complete Brake Flush
🏍️ Complete Hydraulic Clutch Flush

During the service, we found that the fluid in both brake master cylinders and the clutch master cylinder contained over 4% water.

That’s not something you want to find in your braking or clutch systems. Brake fluid absorbs moisture over time, and excessive water contamination can negatively affect system performance—especially when you need your brakes to perform.

This is exactly why regular maintenance matters.

🚨 A FUEL LEAK WAS JUST THE BEGINNING…

Today we wrapped up Josh’s 2010 Street Glide, and what started as a severe fuel leak turned into a much-needed safety inspection.

After repairing the fuel leak, we inspected the bike from front to back and found the front and rear tires were both over 12 years old and worn down. Josh decided to replace them, so we installed a fresh set of Shinko SR999 tires.

While swapping the tires, we also found the brake pads were worn down. Those were replaced as well, getting Josh’s Street Glide back in shape and ready to safely hit the road.

👉 This is exactly why a thorough inspection matters. You may bring your bike in for one issue and discover something else that could become a serious problem down the road.

🏍️ Another bike came in not running… and left ready to ride!

Tonight we finished up Jaxon’s 1994 Softail. This bike came into the shop in a non-running state, so we went to work tracking down the problem.

We found some issues with the ignition wiring along with a weak battery. We replaced the ignition, repaired the wiring, and installed a new battery — getting this old Softail back up and running! 🔧

Tonight we finished up a little project on Jim’s 2012 Street Glide.

A few weeks ago, Jim hit a deer while riding and unfortunately did some damage to the front end of his bike. The good news is Jim is still here to talk about it and is back to getting his bike rebuilt and back on the road!

We replaced the bent rotors and installed a new front tire as part of the rebuild.

We appreciate Jim trusting Ingram Motorcycle Services to help get his Street Glide back where it belongs. 🏍️
