On today's episode of electrical nightmares we have a 2004 Volkswagen Passat. No communication

Turns out corrosion in the transmission module blocked the Pcm from communications with the ABS system. Then an error in the ABS stopped the computer from relaying needed info to the Emissions machine. Unplugged ABS and still wouldn't communicate. So with our handy Dandy "break-out box" and a power probe i created an inline ground to complete the circuit.... this is why diagnostics are sometimes needed. And our technicians can be a little unstable
