Clients who store their boats and vehicles with us for the winter also receive a storage client discount on repair work completed during the storage season.

Winter is the perfect time to take care of those repairs you’ve been putting off—fiberglass and gelcoat repairs, upholstery work, or some of those other projects you didn’t want to give up boating time for during the summer.

Monthly rates start at $100 for motorcycles, with vehicle, boat, and camper storage based on size. Multi-vehicle discounts are also available.

📅 Shop Schedule Update

We'll be spending some time with family July 23–28 and will return to our regular shop schedule on Wednesday, July 29.

While we're away—and throughout the year—we ask that you please schedule an appointment before stopping by the shop.

Many of our repair processes, like spraying gel coat or other fiberglass work, can't be interrupted once they've started. Scheduling your visit ahead of time allows Ryan to plan shop work and any necessary errands around your appointment, so we can give you the time and attention you deserve.

We get asked this question quite a bit, and the answer isn't always as straightforward as you might think.

Unlike most boats, personal watercraft aren't all built the same. Depending on the manufacturer, model, and year, they can be constructed using different hull materials and finishing systems. Those differences determine not only how the damage is repaired, but whether it's a repair we're able to perform.

At Baird's, we repair fiberglass personal watercraft with gel-coat finishes. If your personal watercraft is constructed from a different material, we'll recommend contacting your local dealership. They can help identify repair shops that are equipped to work with your specific make, model, and construction.

That's why we always ask for the year, make, model, and photos of the damage before recommending the next step.

Not every step of a restoration is exciting—but every step matters.

As we continue preparing this classic boat for its new gel coat, Ryan uncovered something we weren't expecting. A previously applied clear coat covered a much larger area than originally thought. Before the new gel coat can be sprayed, every bit of that coating has to be removed.

It's one of those jobs that adds time to the project but can't be skipped. Proper surface preparation is what gives the new finish the best chance for long-term adhesion and durability.

Restoration isn't just about making a boat look new again. It's about taking the time to do the work underneath so the finished product lasts.

Our summer help has officially arrived.

Their qualifications include:
• Asking for snacks every 17 minutes
• Negotiating break schedules
• Occasionally wandering off to see what's happening in the rest of the shop

But they also aren't afraid to jump in and help.

This week they've been removing staples, cleaning parts, scrubbing upholstery, and learning a little about the work that goes into bringing boats back to life.

The productivity may vary, but the company is pretty good.

We see the hours behind it.
Before new graphics are applied, the surface has to be polished and prepared. It's the kind of work that requires patience, attention to detail, and a willingness to spend time on the steps that nobody notices when they're done right.
The finished result is always worth it.
