🔧 What’s in the Shop?

It’s a busy one around the shop today! We’ve got plenty going on and the bays are definitely getting their workout.

And then there’s Smalls. 🐱 He appears to be overseeing operations from his favorite window spot, although judging by that big yawn, he may need a little more coffee before his shift really gets going. 😂

We’re staying busy keeping things moving and getting the work done.

Thanks for trusting us with your service and repair needs! 👍

🚗 Tech Tip Tuesday: Don't Ignore a Slow Battery Crank

If your car sounds tired when it starts, it's trying to tell you something.

If your vehicle is taking longer than usual to start, don't automatically assume it's just having a bad morning. A slow or sluggish crank can be an early warning sign that your battery is getting weak.

A battery that struggles to start today may decide not to start at all tomorrow.

If you notice your engine cranking slower than normal, it's a good idea to have your battery and charging system checked before you're stuck with a vehicle that won't start.

A little attention now can help prevent a much bigger headache later.

⛽ Tech Tip Tuesday: Your Cabin Air Filter Shouldn't Look Like This

Take a good look at this cabin air filter we pulled from a vehicle. 🍂

At some point, it stopped being a filter and started becoming a leaf collection. 😂

Your cabin air filter is supposed to help keep dust, pollen, leaves, and other debris out of the air blowing through your vehicle. When it gets packed like this, airflow can suffer and your HVAC system has to work harder.

If you can't remember the last time yours was changed, it might be worth checking.

If your cabin air filter looks like it belongs in the woods, it's probably time for a new one. 🌲

Don’t Ignore the Little Warning Signs

A vehicle doesn't always announce a problem with a warning light.

A new vibration, unusual noise, pulling to one side, a change in braking, or a fluid spot underneath can all be early signs that something needs attention.

For fleet vehicles, catching those small changes early can make the difference between a quick repair and unexpected downtime.

If something feels different, report it. That little change might be telling you something important.

🛠️ Tech Tip Tuesday

Maintenance Myth: If the check engine light isn't flashing, it can wait.

Not necessarily.

A steady check engine light may not require you to pull over immediately, but it is your vehicle's way of letting you know something needs attention. It could be something simple, like a loose gas cap, or it could be an early warning of a problem that may become more expensive if ignored.

Taking care of small issues early can help reduce unexpected downtime and avoid larger repairs later.

A little attention today can save a lot of frustration tomorrow.
