Remember PPF Removal ice method? 🧊After our last video, a lot of people said, “Try it after the PPF has been sitting for years.”Well, we had to redo a customer’s PPF after the film was damaged during a service visit. This film had been sitting on the car for 2-3 months.For the ice method, we filled a bag with crushed ice and place it directly over the PPF. Then we slowly massage the ice bag over the section of film we’re getting ready to remove, making sure the area gets nice and cold.Once the film is chilled, we start lifting and removing the PPF while continuing to work section by section with the ice.And once again the method worked beautifully. 🧊 No heat, just crushed ice and a little patience.Of course, 3 months isn’t 5 or 10 years 😂 so we’ll keep testing this method whenever we get the opportunity to remove older PPF.
