A lot of my ceramic coating clients NEVER come back for their annual ceramic coating maintenance service. It’s a shame really. I’ve had some tell me they didn’t come back because it’s just a glorified wash job that costs them $400 more dollars and they don’t see the need. Question: When your vehicle has this service, will it “look” much different than when it came in? Not really other than it’ll be clean. However, what it will be is back to a true clean, with an additional layer of protection to help extend the life of the original coating and it’ll be decontaminated. It’s called playing the long game as an investment in your vehicle and the money you’ve already spent.

What you see right here shows all the environmental fallout that has settled on and into this truck over the past year. One year ago i ceramic coating this truck and look at how many contaminates are in the clear coat and sitting on the coating, clogging it up. This annual service removes these contaminates and helps keep it healthy and breathing so it can continue to do its job efficiently. This is why you should get your annual coating service done. One of many reason so don’t neglect it!!

She’s juuuuuuust a lil bit dirty. My good friends over at Atlanta Auto Restoration sent me this restored Corvette to get cleaned up. Even with the dust, dirt and grime, she’s still a beaut Clark!

Gettin my boy Robert Payne’s Yukon Denali Ultimate all squared away with its annual ceramic coating service. I coated this one last year and doing this service went smooth as silk because Robert is an owner who actually takes pretty good care of his ride throughout the year. The coating is in great shape. I added an additional topper layer to extend its life after a thorough decon wash. Even threw in an express interior detail that I know my friend Joe Westbury appreciates.

Had the pleasure of detailing this beautiful RX350h today. I didn’t get before pics but she came in with a lot of mildew and artillery fungus spores all over the car. If you’ve ever had to deal with this type of fungus, you know it’s an absolute bear to remove. Needless to say, I got them removed and this car is back to clean clean!

Sometimes you don’t get the prize. I had a gentleman come in and wanted some hood scratches removed and two little dings on his trunk hatch touched up with paint.

He left his BMW with me this morning for the service. I got his hood looking wonderful with all the scratches removed. Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to get the two dings touched up satisfactory. This was, in part due to the paint not matching the original color (it dried darker). Unfortunate to be sure and it took me a while to come to the conclusion that it wasn’t the work that was faulty but rather the paint.

I called the customer and let him know the situation and that his car was ready to be picked up…and there would be no charge. Was that smart on my part? Maybe not. I did perform work that would’ve been good to go if things were different. However, I was raised to do right by people and in my mind, I cannot, in good faith charge for work that wasn’t done as requested, even if it was no fault of my own. To the customers credit, he did offer me some cash for the hood work but I refused. What would you have done in this situation?

Yall see that weird looking spot just in front of the passenger side wheel? Yeah, someone tried to “polish out” a scratch using a rotary polisher and they obviously had no idea what they were doing because they left a whole punch of micro marring so now the spot looks worse than it began. This person doesn’t know how to finish down paint so that it looks smooth as glass and the worst part is, this truck is parked right behind my shop! If I see the owner, ima tell him, “I know a guy that can fix that…”
