Tight spaces don't have to mean weak bass. The CompVT-Series brings real KICKER low end into the spots where a full-depth sub just won't clear.

These slimline drivers use a proprietary four-layer voice coil paired with SoloKon cone technology so they handle serious power without the bulk of a standard sub. We revamped the suspension with a larger surround and spider to keep the cone stable and aligned under load, while Forced-Air Cooling and UniPlate construction pull heat out of the motor so output stays consistent song after song.

Mounting depth drops to about 4-1/4 inches on the 10-inch and 4-3/8 inches on the 12-inch. That lets them slide under a truck seat, tuck behind a bench, fit in a door panel, or drop into a compact sealed or ported box without eating your cargo area. A UTV dash was never built for a car radio, and that's why the KBTR was built for the switch blank that's already sitting there!

The KICKER KBTR Powersports Bluetooth receiver clips into a 2 x 1.4-inch opening and fits most OEM double-switch knockouts, so it takes that blank instead of forcing you to cut a radio hole in the dash.

Pair it to your phone and you're streaming, with 60 feet (18.3 m) of Bluetooth range so the audio keeps playing when you hop off. USB plays MP3, WMA, WAV, and FLAC off a flash drive when you don't want to burn your phone battery on the trail, while AUX Input also offers a wired source.

KICKER's Team SQ put on a show at the 2026 Unified Car Audio Sound Quality Finals in Fort Smith this weekend. Three cars. Three organizations. Hardware across the board.

ICA Finals:
Brandon Laielli — 2nd, INT-4
Scott Williams — 3rd, OE2

EMMA Finals:
Brandon — 3rd, S Unlimited
Scott — 3rd, S Limited

EMMA Kickoff:
Scott — 2nd, S Limited
Joe Hobart — 3rd, S Unlimited

MASQ Kickoff:
Brandon — 3rd, Mod

Then it got even better! SQOLOGY’s Klifton Keplinger took a weighted average of every organization’s Finals sound scores and ranked the top 10 out of 36 cars; Joe landed 6th, and Brandon at 10th.

Brandon and Joe appeared to have tied in EMMA Finals S Unlimited. Brandon took the official Sunday tiebreaker but, when they rechecked the sheets, Joe had been shorted a point. Brandon handed him the trophy on the spot, while EMMA gets updated. Teamwork makes the dreamwork.

Also in the building and running KICKER LX amps, subs, and a center channel: Todd Rose - he won 3rd in MASQ Kickoff Pro Mod, 3rd in 2-seat, and 3rd in M Limited at both EMMA Finals and EMMA Kickoff.

Stacey sits down with Australian drift driver Brendon Greaves on what it takes to build a competitive drift car. Then the shop turns to audio. We’ve been in that garage before, from the Li’l Red Wagon to BIG DEBRA, and this episode walks through great KICKER options that leave the factory stereo behind on your own project.
