Have you had a bearing repack recently? This little guy came off a 2024 with a little over 5k miles. This is why we check every bearing by hand during the repacking process, it may not look like much but it can cause a good bit of damage. Simply adding grease through the fitting does not find issues like this.

In our opinion slide roofs are the most over looked issue with RVs. Slide outs have the most flex and movement of any part of an rv so you think the seams would be made to deal with that. Unfortunately most slide flanges are sealed with a layer of roof tape that believe it or not does not last for eternity, sometimes only a few years. Removing this tape can stretch and damage your membrane if done incorrectly. This seam failure is one of the major causes of slide floor damage. We offer several solutions for this problem. Starting from a wider tape to cover what is there to adding a coating over the affected area to provide years more of protection.

Roof coatings are a bit controversial in the rv world. When used in the right application it can prolong the life of your roof, lower the amount of maintenance and provide some extra protection and cooling benefits. The dreaded furnace sail switch…… it doesn’t go bad as often as you would think. It does get dirty and that can cause you issues. If you have a furnace failure to light here where to start.
If you hear the ignitor clicking than the sail switch is doing its job and it’s a possible gas issue. A lot of times your lp tank could be empty or in lock out. If you don’t hear the ignitor clicking, call us!
