Hooked on Utah Tonight !!!! 11:00PM CHANNEL 2. Stay up and watch or set you DVR. Seems weird to say DVR, does anyone still use/have a DVR?
If you're able to go fish Nine Mile Reservoir, please send me a comment. I'm out of town for the next 2 weeks and I have followers asking about water and fishing conditions. Would be great to get the word out and capitalize on these fish before the water is gone. Thanks!

Even better come down to the Arapeen Trail and take a ride on the fishing trip.

Yesterday I fished Nine Mile Reservoir with Hooked on Utah. Fishing was fantastic, but if you want to fish for some big Trout it must be done in the next few days. Nine Mile Reservoir is unique as it if full of snails and the Trout grow to over 5 lbs in just a couple years.
The Utah DWR has raised the limit to 16 as the Reservoir is being drained.
I fished off the Dam and pink powerbait seemed to be the favorite. Gary fished the middle of the lake in his raft. Gary caught multiple 5+ pound Rainbow Trout.
The show will air this Saturday May 23rd, 11:05 pm on channel 2. Be sure to watch it, and in the meantime get to Nine Mile Reservoir and fish before it's to late!

Rode Six Mile Canyon yesterday to escape the City heat and check on the snow line. I was able to make it about 4 miles past the Blue Meadow turn off, up to where Six Mile Canyon has the East to West section. This is usually the last place for the snow to clear up Six Mile. In 2025 it was June 2nd when I was able to make it to this point.
I'm still thinking we might reach Skyline Drive by Memorial Day Weekend.

Headed back down I rode and cleared out the Sand Ridge Trail / 38A.

On the ride I seen Mule Deer, Turkeys, Grouse and a Blow Snake.

Rode 6 Mile Canyon Saturday.
Was able to make it 2.5 miles past the Blue Meadow turn off (Trail #39). On the way down I rode Trail #39 to the junction with Trail #38 and then back down to the Main Road. So you can now do a nice loop in 6 Mile Canyon.
As I always recommend carry a chainsaw and a shovel with you, I removed several trees on the ride that others had come up to and had to turn around.
With what I'm seeing and comparing the snow line to years past, We might be able to ride the Skyline Drive by Memorial Day Weekend.

Rode Manti Canyon over the weekend, was able to make it about 1 mile past the Hougaard/ Bench Road Trail #32, The area commonly referred to as the Elderberry Slide is as far as I could make it.
Then I rode over to Trail #37/ Willow Creek. There is some massive mud holes on the trail, but I was able to make it and ride over to Ephraim.
The Hougaard/ Bench Road Trail is close to passable, I was able to make it about 2/3 of the way.

Patton Trail, Burnt Hill and Milky Falls are all accessible.

Palisade is about 80% full they now have the paddle boats and canoes out to rent.

Fishing at Yearns was ok, not great I was still fishing a lure should have had a fly, they were jumping like crazy.

Pictured is our new Kawasaki Mule PRO-FXT 1000 LE. They are an amazing UTV. Lots of power, amazingly smooth ride and very quiet. We have 6 of them to rent, they are my go to machine, get one rented today!
