NCRMC offers the Mustang and Ford enthusiast many activities year round. Some examples include an annual club display at the Washington DC car show, a winter party, a summer picnic, parades, car cruises, Spring and Fall All Ford shows, swap meet spaces at the annual All Ford swap meet and car show in Carlisle PA, and restoration and judging seminars. Members are also encouraged to attend car cruise nights and other shows in their local area. NCRMC-sponsored car shows have judged classes for everyone from the concours correct car to the clean street driven, modified or daily driver. Other classes are available for other FoMoCo products on a participant vote basis. NCRMC is the only area club with a program for training concours judges and that encourages them to become MCA-certified. Several NCRMC judges have attained MCA gold card status and have restored numerous Mustangs. NCRMC keeps its members informed with a bimonthly newsletter, its website, and via an e-mail notification system. The club newsletter, The QuarterHorse, keeps members apprised of upcoming events and contains the minutes from our bimonthly club meetings. The newsletter includes a free classified section for members to advertise cars and parts, event reports and flyers, features of members' cars, and a calendar of activities. Club apparel (hats, shirts, pins, decals) are available to purchase at club meetings and events.
Mission: The National Capital Region Mustang Club (NCRMC) was born in 1979 with only a handful of members. Today, more than 420 members from Virginia, the District of Columbia, and Maryland belong to this nationally-known organization respected not only for automotive expertise but a willingness to help each other maintain and restore this special breed of automobile. NCRMC is also a regional chapter of the Mustang Club of America (MCA) and assists with judging at MCA national and regional events. Annual MCA membership is separate from NCRMC dues. MCA provides a monthly magazine, the Mustang Times, to each member and discounts on MCA national events.

National Capital Region Mustang Club receives President's Award
At the 2019 MCA Grand National our club was honored by MCA with the 2018 President's Award. The president's award is given to active clubs that host regional events, participate in Parades and provide content to mustang times. On behalf of the club, Rusty Rentsch, Club President, received the award from MCA President Steve Prewitt. The award really recognizes the NCRMC Member's activity and enthusiasm for the mustang brand.
