Champ Car at Mid Ohio. Nat and Justin gave it their all in the V2 Miata. It was a 8 hour sprint race to finish in 3rd by 2 seconds at the end for the overall. We lead for hours but it all came down to luck when you chose to pit. We were on a 3 stop strategy and the boxers were on a 4 stop strategy. With a 3 stop strategy you have very small pit windows when you can come it. We had two stops under green flag racing and one under caution. The boxers lucked out and got all 4 stops under yellow. We did win our class by a 8 lap margin. Although it wasn't a win at the line it was a win in fun factor. Justin and Nat had epic battles on track lap after lap. Real proud of Nat, He was within .5 seconds a lap of Justins times. And Nat weighs almost a hundred pounds over Justin.

NASA National champion Johnathan Finstrom S12/Staudacher/V2, Super unlimited and Time Trial Unlimited. With the icing on the top winning the Miata. John elected to start from the back in the Super unlimited race and quickly moved to P2. He stalked P1 for a few laps and then made his move and checked out for a 63 second advantage when the checker waved. Completely dominating the weekend in both classes. By far the fastest car of the entire event. Many many hours spent at V2 getting ready for this championship. It all payed off. Congratulations Johnathan!
